SafeLink: Dental Compliance: Understanding the Liabilities Associated with Chairside Services

Course Description

As the dentist or the dental lab owner, do you understand the liabilities that exist when services, such as, all-on-four, guidance for custom implant abutment, shade taking or making adjustments/repairs (just to name a few), are provided?

The services being provided to dentists by outside contractors continues to become more needed and more extensive. Patient demands, product availability, and technology are some of the factors that have driven the need by dentists for expanded services by dental technicians. Pre-planning is critical to establishing a relationship for these services that defines and limits liability on both sides and meets the existing dental compliance laws. Learn what types of services are being provided, including all on fours or custom abutment guidance, the issues to be addressed by the parties prior to entering into the arrangements, the regulatory/legal considerations, and the regulatory compliance training needed.
