Infection Control in the Dental Laboratory

This course will provide laboratory owners, department managers and dental technicians with the skills and knowledge to comply with OSHA standards related to infection control procedures necessary in a dental laboratory setting.

Participants will be given the opportunity to evaluate the course and to comment on how they perceive they might incorporate any suggested strategies into their practice.

Requirements for Course Completion

Participants will view the online seminar, review associated graphics and text, and complete a post-test and course evaluation. Participants must correctly answer at least 70% of the test questions to receive credit. If a grade of at least 70% is not achieved, the test may be repeated two times.

Accreditation

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive one hour of documented Regulatory Standards through the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC).
