This course provide participants with a common sense approach to business management based on the textbook Managing for Profit, compiled by Peter Stein, BS, MB & PA.
The goal of this video series is to provide readily applicable guidance and practical advice based on experience of successful laboratory operations and a hands-on approach to managing specific situations.
This course will cover five topics:
- Laboratory Marketing
- Attracting and Retaining Dental Clients
- Sales Promotion
- Pricing for Profit
- Credit & Collections
Requirements for Course Completion
Participants will listen to each topic's seminar and achieve a grade of at least 70% on each quiz. Participants must also complete the course evaluation to receive credit.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive two hours of Professional Development through the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC).
